This spot is one of my favorites! Fair pricing, large portions and the employees are always very welcoming.

I have a ton of love for the Irish Bank. It's rare to find a spot that's low key with great staff. I wish the food was just a little better and that the beer list had just one or two more diverse options... But overall, how can you go wrong with fish n chips and a Swithwicks?

I enjoyed the atmosphere and the Irish memorabilia on the walls. A traditional pub and has pub type fare. Our chips and chicken strips were overcooked and dry but no doubt that helped us appreciate our beverages more. The tables were clean and it was decorated for Halloween when we were there but no apparent nods to Halloween in the food menu. Staff were friendly and of course you can get Irish whiskey and Guiness here. Must be a great place to enjoy St Patricks Day and being so close to the financial district a good place work get togethers as it is bigger than it first appears.

Not cheap but not too expensive. A nice for a long lunch during the week (if you can afford yourself a small drink before going back to work). On a warm sunny day it's very nice sitting outside. They have nice Shepard's pie, and enough options for food and beers. The impossible burger is nice. Good service.

From the moment you arrive in this place team give you an agreeable feeling. Very comfortable crew, it is a lovely place to pass time with friends or with your date. Excellent cuisine, professional chef, good pay and attentive service. Highly recommended.

Been in there a few times, it’s decent everything, food is decent but the same girl service was extremely poor towards me compare to others around First time food thrown at me and super rude about 3 month’s back, yesterday I just wanted a soda but just had card, I said leave it open but she went on to say it will cost us too much as the card company fees would not be enough to cover the sodas I wanted. I was about to leave as she continued talking about it for a minute before a lady at the bar said she would cover me. She was very friendly with the lady after but I would never set foot In there again

Cool spot outside to hang out and have a pint. I definitely like the atmosphere they have going on there.

Good vibe and friendly staff are what the Irish Bank has going for it. Drink prices are ok by SF standards. The music was a bit loud for a pub, making it difficult to visit.

One of the best Guinness pints in town, and the fish and chips are one among many delicious meals you can get here!

First time visiting. Good service. Enjoyed the wings. Ruben sandwich was ok. Just spoiled from previous places were the meat was abundant.

Ambiance is very nice. Also staff comprises good mates. Should try prohibition ale. Next time I return San Francisco, I will visit again.

Great food and friendly service! The decor and location of the bar makes it a real unique spot to visit in San Francisco. All the food that we ordered was good and the Guinness pours were excellent.

We enjoy going out. Yesterday we went to this magnificent restaurant which friends told us about. We had a beautiful time there with excellent food and a nice team and a talented chef. We put this place in our phone list and we will no doubt visit again very soon. Highly recommended.

Visited recently on a work trip with some colleagues, dropping by just as it was getting dark. We took a table outside in the alley (much nicer than it sounds) and started off with drinks. The drinks were good, price was reasonable. Food is standard Irish pub food, good quality. Our waitress helped me acquire some curried chips which was a nice touch. Overall, it's a good bar/restaurant, serving good quality food and they don't cheat on the drinks either, or water them down as far as we could tell. And we conducted a thorough test. Definitely recommended for an evening, or to drop in after work.Pro tip: The bouncer/assistant/maitre'd who greets you when you walk up and helps you get a seat, looks EXACTLY like a customer so we didn't recognize at first that he worked there and tried to walk past him. But he was a good guy and fine about it.

Besides being the best St. Patrick's Day location on the west coast, best customer service in SF, & literal historical background! In my ever to be humble opinion, The Irish Bank is one of the best places on Earth!!!

Excellent place to party and eat and meet people on who you know.

I get to eat here a lot since I work in the area. I got to say their customer service is always awesome and they keep the spot neat at all times. Pricing is convenient and they serve sizeable portions.

If you're from the UK, this is the closest to real fish and chips you will get in the area. The bar was nice, the food good and the staff were good too. We went in a couple of hours before the super bowl and all was good still.

Great chicken tenders and Guinness nitro. Good service and awesome to experience the alleyway seating for a couple rounds.

We had a surprisingly good dinner at the Bank last night. The chicken wings were respectable, as was the Malay curry! Service was fine and the atmosphere is comfortable. Tons of outdoor seating for nice nights.

Been here twice now and very much enjoyed each visit. Try to snag the confessional booth if you're inside. If you're outside, in the covered alley way, you really can't go wrong, unless it's cold. Then pick a spot on the wall next to the heaters. Friendly service and good pub food. I really enjoyed the fish tacos.

This place is my preferable place. Of all restaurants I know I like it most. I always suggests to my friends to go to that place. everytime I feel like having a good lunch, this place comes first to my mind. splendid and food and a rich menu.courteous staff members, and great vibes. Not less important, the bill is modest. I suggest this restaurant with great pleasure.

Drinks were okay. Not much room by the bar even when not many people are in the establishment. Someone bumped into me causing me to spill a bit of my drink. He didn't even say anything and just kept going. Not a very good crowd. Not sure why we went here.

It has that old school feel to the place but modern amenities and menu. Great place when the sun is out and you feel like being outdoors and having a drink

Great spot with a great vibe! If you are passing through or walking around please stop in for a beer. We did not eat any food but we had a couple of beers and a Dark and Stormy ZX everything was awesome. The waitress was friendly and even though it was packed outside she was able to help everyone out. Thanks Irish Bank for a great memory!

Girl walks into bar an notices upon leaving she doesn't have her wallet. Managers reply, 'leave your kid's cell phone or I call the police' very gold rush 1850's'. Tho the accent was nice, the bedside manner could use some finesse.

Ok Irish bar but our server kept forgetting requests like hot sauce for the quesadilla and additional beer orders. She was kind of snippy and didn’t apologize. Prices are reasonable.
